We have spend twice of our nights at our new place, Roger doesn't sleep well but both of them sleep very well.

Bamboo Blind

Here is the new install - Bamboo blind for the Balcony.
Noted "Er Jie" had advised us not to install as it will spoil the view, but due to the heavy rain which really wet the whole of the balcony so after much consideration decide to install the blind.

Complete Reno work

Here are some of the completed work results.

This is the Girls bedroom. There are a writing table for both of them and there are plenty of storage,

the middle of the platform can be open up with quite a large compartment that allow them to store their boardgames. The two drawers between the writing table can act as a dresser too as the top can be opened and has a mirror. There are also large drawers at the bed's headboard too where they can store their school's books. Both of them love their room.

The wall colour - Picked by both of Yan Xin & Yan Qiao.

The Platform and the bed frame colour are picked by Yan Xin.

The Curtain - Picked by me and Yan Qiao.

There are two wall cabinets - one on each side above their bed for them to put away story books. Yan Qiao has stuck in her soft toys.

Completion Ceremony

On Feb 27, 2011 The HDB has a Completion Ceremony. Some of the Residences collect their key from the MP directly. They have some programs like Lucky draw and Gifts.
We have just drop by for a while and YanXin & YanQiao enjoy the performance.

It is great to have "Er Jie"come with us to view our House before she goes back to Australia.

Fan, Lights and Wiring

Wiring

Running cat 6 wiring out from the DB box - to the ceiling of the living room and then into Bedroom 2 then Bedroom 3, last to the Master Bedroom and Study room. This has been talked over and over with Huat and Roger if we should install the cat 6 wiring ? Roger prefer not to have it as it will cause to have wire casing visible and unpleasant. After he worked with the Electrician and finally he okay with my request of having the cat 6 wiring. Install on March 4.
